LOD Black is Cafetto’s most powerful descaler, formulated to tackle heavy scale build-up and restore heavily used or neglected machines. It contains a specialized acid blend for deep descaling and is ideal for commercial settings or first-time deep cleans. Safe on brass and stainless steel, LOD Black is not recommended for use on aluminum components due to its strength. Use this for quarterly or intensive descaling where maximum scale removal is needed.
Specifications: To use any of the Cafetto LOD descalers, simply measure out the recommended dose—typically 100ml—and dilute it with 500ml of cold or warm water. Run the solution through your machine following the manufacturer's descaling instructions, then rinse thoroughly with clean water at least twice. Always ensure the system is fully flushed before brewing again. All LOD products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
