Comandante Merino Wool Felt Sleeve

The Comandante Merino Wool Felt Sleeve is a protective sleeve designed for the Comandante C40 hand grinder. Made in Germany from 100% premium Merino lambswool, it gives your grinder a snug and comfortable fit while helping protect it during daily use, storage, or travel. With its clean felt texture and refined colour options, the sleeve adds both protection and personality to your coffee setup.

Merino wool felt was chosen for its natural performance qualities. It is elastic, breathable, UV-resistant, wear-resistant, and shape-holding, making it suitable for long-term use. The material also provides temperature insulation, keeping the grinder more comfortable to hold, and is naturally dirt-repellent thanks to the lanolin present in the wool. Designed to fit the Comandante C40, the sleeve measures approximately 7 cm in diameter and 16 cm in height, with a lightweight feel of around 30 g.

To care for the Comandante Merino Wool Felt Sleeve, clean it gently with a damp cloth or brush it with a soft brush when needed. For more stubborn stains, use a small amount of mild wool detergent or wool shampoo. After cleaning, reshape the sleeve, lay it flat on a towel, and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, harsh cleaners, or high heat, as these may affect the wool’s shape and texture.
